California OSHA requires protective units to be in accordance with their standards and approved by the state agency for use in california. Test requires a 250 lb. Bag dropped from 10 ft. without failure of unit or bag. Federal OSHA issued the following: "Protective device… capable of withstanding 250 lbs. Dropped from 10 ft. should be used".
